Welcome to FranCareers These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the FranCareers website. By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to all users of the site, whether you are a candidate seeking employment or a hiring company looking for candidates.

1. General Use of the Site FranCareers is a specialized platform connecting job-seeking candidates with hiring companies in the franchising industry. Our services are designed to facilitate professional opportunities and connections. Users must use the site in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Intellectual Property Rights The content and services provided by FranCareers, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are protected under intellectual property laws and are the property of FranCareers or its licensors.

3. Acceptable Use Users of FranCareers are expected to use the site responsibly and ethically. This includes refraining from posting inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate content. FranCareers reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards or harms the integrity of the site.

4. Privacy and Data Protection Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

5. Modifications to Terms FranCareers reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability FranCareers provides its services on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the site.

In addition to these general Terms of Use, users are subject to specific Terms of Service based on their role on our platform:

  • Candidates: Please refer to the Candidate Terms of Service below for guidelines on using FranCareers for job-seeking purposes, including your responsibilities and our services to you.

  • Hiring Companies: The Hiring Company Terms of Service (or the FranCareers Service Agreement )outlines the obligations and standards for companies utilizing FranCareers to find suitable candidates.  Hiring Companies and their representatives are required to sign this agreement which may be updated on the FranCareers website from time to time.

By accessing or using FranCareers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the applicable Terms of Service for your role on the platform.



By engaging with FranCareers for employment facilitation and opting to be promoted by FranCareers, including listing their availability on the FranCareers website, individuals (“Candidates”) hereby acknowledge and consent to be governed by the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. Professional Conduct: The Candidate agrees to uphold the highest standards of professionalism. This includes refraining from disparaging comments about current or former employers and maintaining a constructive outlook towards future opportunities.
  2. Performance During Search and Transition: The Candidate is expected to exert their best efforts at their current place of employment throughout the job search and during any subsequent transition period.
  3. Notice Period: The Candidate agrees to provide a minimum of two weeks’ notice, or a longer period if required by their current employer, to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of business operations.
  4. Minimum Tenure Commitment: Upon acceptance of a position facilitated by FranCareers, the Candidate commits to a minimum tenure of ninety (90) days. This period is critical for both the Candidate and the employer to adequately evaluate the position’s fit. Should the Candidate consider leaving the position within this timeframe, they agree to first exhaust all efforts to resolve any issues in partnership with their employer and FranCareers.
  5. Reputation and Cooperation: Recognizing the close-knit nature of the franchise industry, the Candidate agrees to conduct themselves cooperatively and professionally. This includes being punctual for interviews and calls, providing candid feedback, and preserving the confidentiality of any introductions made.
  6. No Guarantee of Placement: FranCareers offers job search assistance without guaranteeing employment, introductions, or interviews. The Candidate acknowledges that success in job placement is not guaranteed.
  7. Fees and Notification of Hire: The Candidate will not incur any fees for the services provided by FranCareers, as all fees are borne by the hiring entity. Upon hiring, the Candidate is obligated to inform FranCareers of their employment and disclose their annual compensation details.
  8. Privacy and Confidentiality: Reasonable efforts will be made by FranCareers and any hiring company to maintain the confidentiality of the Candidate’s information. FranCareers may list the Candidate’s professional history and career aspirations online in a manner that avoids personal identification, with full identity disclosure to potential employers contingent upon the Candidate’s explicit consent.
  9. Nature of Association: The Candidate and FranCareers are independent entities. This Agreement does not establish an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.
  10. Liability: FranCareers endeavors to use reasonable efforts to protect the confidentiality of the Candidate’s information. However, due to the inherent nature of employment facilitation and the potential for unintentional disclosure, FranCareers cannot guarantee absolute assurance of confidentiality. Consequently, you agree FranCareers shall not be liable for any unauthorized disclosure of the Candidate’s information. Furthermore, FranCareers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, loss of income, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising from any aspect of the employment facilitation process.
  11. Term of Agreement: This Agreement becomes effective upon the Candidate’s provision of their professional information to FranCareers and continues until the Candidate issues a written notice of withdrawal, which must be acknowledged by FranCareers to be valid. Certain provisions of this Agreement are designed to survive its termination and remain enforceable. FranCareers will discontinue the promotion of the Candidate upon withdrawal.
  12. Governing Law: The laws of the State of Pennsylvania govern this Agreement.
